West Virginia Updates

September 2010
When a sensitive public announcement was to be made from the governor's office, the Charleston governor called Pray West Virginia to request a prayer team before he made the announcement. A team of intercessors came together in the reception area of his office and he asked for prayer for the decisions being made in the legislature, as well as the announcement.

August 2010
Pray West Virginia distributed nearly 500 backpacks with school supplies at two locations in Charleston in July. Enough supplies were left over to provide for teachers at both locations as well -- teachers often have to provide supplies for themselves out of their own pockets.

May 2010

Charleston held a Community Impact Roundtable in March, focusing on efforts taking place on Charleston's West Side. Emphases for this area included spiritual mapping, prayer walking, neighborhood houses of prayer, and more.
