| Coachella Valley Prayer Gathering Termed "Historic": It was a packed house at Southwest Community Church in September as Christians from across the Coachella Valley gathered to seek the Lord's blessing upon their valley. The prayer gathering was historic - organizers expected 200-500 people but nearly 1,500 from all denominations came together to pray for the region and the Festival of Life planned for 2010.

Valley in June for a launching luncheon for the Valley's Festival of Faith planned for April. Nearly 240 church leaders, ministry leaders and marketplace leaders attended - double the expected 120 people. Organizers shared the vision for the festival and Mike MacIntosh spoke. The LOV (Lighthouses of the Valley) Movement coordinating the event is an alliance of Christian pastors and leaders in the

Valley.

| More Than 30,000 Hear Gospel in Coachella Valley: During the Festival of Life services April 9-11 and the various mini-festivals and outreach events of the past year in the Coachella Valley, Calif., a total of 56,500 people participated. Some 20,000 people received food and gift boxes: 1,944 received medical care, 1,655 received dental care, plus thousands received clothing. All of these services were provided free in the name of Jesus. Above all, some 3,600 people made commitments to Jesus Christ through the major Festival events, mini-festivals and various outreaches. Events of the April 9-11 weekend drew 31,900 in attendance, with 1,338 committing their lives to Christ.
