What happens when followers of Jesus from different churches unite to serve their local communities?
PRAY-CARE-SHARE happens!
Dear Cornerstone Friends,
| It was a wonderful day
! Saturday, June 6th, approximately 1,500 volunteers from 40 different churches in Ventura County (including Calvary Community Church), along with members of the Cornerstone Network board, worked together under the coordination of ACTION (Area Christians Taking Initiative On Needs) to help meet the needs of families living in difficult situations. |
 |
Approximately 400 of the volunteers focused their efforts on the small town of Piru, CA, while the remaining 1,000+ volunteers worked on numerous other Pray-Care-Share projects, such as:
Mercy Ministries Oxnard
Dove Christian Ministries Oxnard
Tender Life Maternity Home Ventura
Harbor Community Church Ventura
El Rio and LovePiru

I’m praising God for this day when believers from Ventura County reached out to Pray, Care, and Share and to help people in need locally. Join with me in praying for the day when cities all across America will be praying, caring and sharing with others, one-on-one, and when churches come together to show the love of Christ in practical ways.
In the incredible name of Christ,
Larry
