Update from Beccy about Larry . . .
Dear Friends,
Yesterday afternoon (Thursday) the abscess was drained from Larry's abdomen. They also put in a screen to protect his lungs, etc., from any blood clots escaping from his leg. He's very weak, so he can't handle visitors . . . but getting the infection out of his system should help him begin to feel stronger. They still don't know if this was originally caused by a ruptured appendix.
