Phoenix, known as the Valley of the Sun, is the twelfth-largest metro area in the U.S.—just behind Detroit and ahead of San Francisco— Phoenix has a good spirit of collaboration for a large city of about 4.3 million. A citywide movement covers the area in 24/7 prayer, and an ongoing gathering of local leaders is committed to collaboration. Several efforts, including an Ethnic America Summit and a Luis Palau festival, have fostered collaboration among church and ministry leaders. LC2C is working closely with existing city-reaching efforts in Phoenix.
